Welcome to Numb3rs Slash Ficathons!

Ficathons are held annually during hiatus (July - Sept).

The 5th Annual Numb3rs Slash Ficathon, Trading Places, is now up and running!!

Important Dates:

1. Sign-ups will remain open through Friday, July 31st. Click here for more information or to sign up.

2. Due to the theme, no prompts will be issued this round. However, we’d still like you to sign-up so we have an idea of how many folk will be participating.

3. You will have ~8 weeks to write, depending on when you signed up *g*; stories will be due between Saturday, September 19th and Friday, September 25th. (Please don’t post your stories before then. On the 19th, I’ll create a master list and ask you to provide links in the comments.)

Other Rules:

4. You may write any slash pairing (that includes m/m and f/f slash), any rating, any genre.

5. There is no maximum word length, but stories should be at least 1000 words. (That’s only about 3 pages, folks!)

6. Crossovers are allowed, but since this is a Numb3rs ficathon, the story must be Numb3rs-focused.

7. Threesomes are allowed so long as a slash pairing/threesome/moresome is the focus of the story. Please don’t try to slip in a het pairing by creating an incidental threesome, ie, Robin/Don are in a committed relationship but there’s a mention of the time they invited Liz to join them. On the other hand, if Robin/Liz were the main pairing, and they wanted to invite Don to join them, that would work.

8. Your fic must be complete and posted in its entirety.

9. There may be incest fic written for this ficathon. You need not be concerned that you will stumble upon it by mistake, as all pairings will be listed on the master list when it’s posted. If you do not wish to read it, then you can skip it.

10. No plagiarizing and no flaming. Plagiarized stories will be removed from the list and those ‘authors’ banned from participating in further ficathons. Flamers may also be banned.

11. You do not need to have a LiveJournal account to participate in the ficathon.
